In the MV Cathy Jo new building project, Maritime Management took over the new building supervision just as the keel was laid.
The owner needed a seamless transfer from the previous manager & building supervisor with no loss of time or added cost as a consequence of the change of management. This was achieved by taking a strong and proactive lead of the project from day 1.
The shipyard Ferus Smit in Leer, Germany is a reputable and efficient yard. With a high turnover speed, it required Maritime Management to act rapidly and concisely on any change order or yard request to avoid any delays.
The ship is a highly advanced dry cargo vessel with a crew of 7. It is highly automated with the latest of technologies such as electronic chart displays and information systems, ECDIS.
The ship was delivered in accordance to plan and price to the highest quality available wordwide. The project was also on time.
A minor guarantee list was cleared during the first year of operation, organised without any off hire or cost to the owner.
Maritime Management took full technical and crewing management of the ship after delivery.
