The awards follow determined work by Maritime Management to demonstrate its commitment to providing environmentally friendly, high quality services and safety management systems to both overseas and Irish ship owners and operators in a highly competitive international market.
Maritime Management has a diverse range of international clients and operates vessels ranging from passenger to general cargo ships and refrigerated cargo ships to specialist vessels, such as the EV NAUTILUS on behalf of the famous undersea explorer, Dr. Robert Ballard. Dr. Ballard is best known for the discovery of the Titanic, PT 109 and the Bismark. In Ireland the company's projects have included the design and construction of the Geological Survey of Ireland's RV Keary, a small high tech survey vessel that was built in South Africa.
Maritime Management has a strong technical team including Naval Architects who provide services for Ireland's fishing fleet amongst others and its marine consultancy service has completed various ship conversions and inspections from Chile to South Africa, West Africa, Turkey, Russia, Baltic States as well as closer to home in Europe. Furthermore, due to its packaged services and Irish base, Maritime Management provides for the operation of a vessel within the internationally competitive Irish Tonnage Tax Regime.
Maritime Management's success is based upon the fact that it can deliver everything for its clients, from ship procurement to financial arrangements, budgeting, and insurance. Since setting up in 2002, Maritime Management's business has grown steadily to its present position as a significant international maritime service provider.
