Gillian Kinsella - Accounts Manager

Gillian joined Maritime Management in February 2009 and is responsible for the finance and accounting services within the company. 

She is Irish and previously worked for over 12 years in the accounts and administration departments in one of Ireland’s largest motor dealership.







Justin Delaney - Head of Naval Architectural Consultancy - Maritime Management

Justin Delaney - Head of Naval Architectural Consultancy Services

Justin holds a BEng (Hons) in Naval Architecture and an MSc in Naval Architecture from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.  He is a graduate member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects. He spent time at sea working on various fishing vessels and brings with him a wealth of knowledge on the Irish and European fishing industries.

Justin joined Maritime Management in 2006 and is responsible for the Naval Architectural Consultancy Services division of the company.  He holds Canadian and British nationality.






Dmitry Skhudobenov - Head of Russian Office

Dmitry Skhudobenov - Head of Russian Office

Dmitry is Russian and is a graduate of the Novorossiysk State Marine Academy and of Rostov Nautical School.  He holds the highest level of qualification for Electro-engineering Officers and is also a Microsoft-certified Systems Administrator.

He is a specialist in marine electrics and electronics, having spent many years in various ships as Electrical Engineer.  In more recent years he has specialised in dry-docking, refits and conversion project supervision, having been involved with the multimillion dollar refit of the Christina O in 2001 and in many complex projects since that time.

Dmitry joined Maritime Management in 2005 and speaks Russian and English.






Pavel Chubar - Superintendent

Pavel Chubar, Superintendent

Pavel graduated from Admiral Makarov State Maritime Academy (St.Petersburg) in 1985 and sailed for the first years with USSR submarine fleet as an officer. Changing to the merchant fleet he sailed, from 1995 as Master.

As Master on research ship Bligh he executed the Irish National Seabed Survey which today remains today among the largest marine mapping programmes ever undertaken anywhere in the world. From 2004 he went ashore  working as Superintendent and building manager in larger conversion projects in China.

Pavel who has EU passport speaks Russian, English and some German and Spanish.






Garry Davis - Superintendent

Garry Davis - Superintendent

Garry has a wide experience as Engineer and Superintendent. He got his First Class Marine Engineers Certificate for Steam and Motor in 1979 and has worked as Chief Engineer on OBOs up to 120,000 tdw and on Seismic Survey ships.

He qualified as an engineer surveyor and worked as a surveyor for a number of years with an engineering insurance company.

In shore based shipping industry he worked as a Ship Repair Manager in Dubai Dry-docks; followed by Engineering Superintendents’ positions with Acomarit Cyprus and Dublin Shipping Ltd.

He has had different managerial roles with Commissioners of Irish Lights from 2000 to 2011, after which he joined Maritime Management.

Garry is a keen sailor and is a qualified Yachtmaster Ocean with a Commercial Endorsement.






Dermot Murphy - Snr. Superintendent

Dermot Murphy - Snr. Superintendent

A graduate Marine Engineer of Cork Institute of Technology Dermot has sailed as Chief Engineer. Since 1990 has worked as Technical Superintendent and Surveyor.

He has extensive experience in Ship Repair and New building both from user and  supplier sides having worked at senior level in several shipping companies and shipyards both at home and in continental Europe.  He specialises in refits, machinery repair and conversion projects and has extensive ship sale and purchase experience.

Dermot is Irish and speaks Dutch and Spanish. 






Luisa B. Curry - Office Support

Luisa B. Curry - Office Support

Luisa B. Curry is a Business Professional with over 13 years experience in the Travel & Tourism Industry.

She specialised in corporate travel with the German banking sector being one of her largest clients, after which she had different managerial roles in the Hospitality Industry.

Luisa speaks Italian, English, German and some French.





Tor Torma

Tor Torma - Surveyor / Inspector

Tor is Norwegian and is a graduate from the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy. He spent 3 years in the Royal Norwegian Navy as a submarine officer. He was also a trained commercial diver and diving instructor.

He has a business administration education from the Norwegian College of Economics and he later graduated from the Norwegian Shipping Academy in chartering and ships operations.

He has worked for one of the worlds largest shipping companies both at sea, as a ships officer and Captain in crudeoil- and gas fleets, and ashore, where he got international operational and shipboard management experience. He has also been a Site Manager at one of their international offices for several years where he gained experience as an auditor in Total Quality Management (TQM) of the company's fleet of ships.

Tor lives in Ireland and speaks Scandinavian and English. He is an eager sailor with a Yachtmaster Ocean certificate.





Ivan Balakin

Ivan Balakin – Manager Maritime Crewing

Graduated from Odessa High Marine Academy. He holds the highest level of Qualification – Master degree of navigation. First sailed at sea in 1999. In 2005 holds the Ch officer Ticket. More then 8 years of experience at sea on Reefer, Dry cargo and Container vessels with mixed crews.

In 2007 he led the Crewing Agency office in Odessa , Ukraine. Has lots of experience in supplying the ships by experienced and qualified seafarers.

Spoken languages – Russian , Ukrainian,English.






Denis MacAuliffe

Denis Mc Auliffe – IT Manager

Denis Mc Auliffe is our contracted IT manager since 2006. With over 15 years of experience in the sector, Denis manages and oversees the ICT infrastructure in our offices and on our ships. His wide knowledge on the IT systems ensures the daily running and performance of our network.

Denis efficiently identifies and solves technical issues related to the IT department, in addition manages programmes within schedule and budget constraints. He currently holds qualifications with Microsoft & Cisco.






Rohan Mac Allister

Rohan Mac Allister – Safety and Security Superintendent

Rohan started his career at sea with Common Bros. Management of Newcastle On Tyne as a deck cadet. He was working full time at sea until 1998 in various capacities up to and including Master. Since then he has been the proprietor of Mac Allister Marine, involved in Marine Consultancy and Surveying as well as continuing to serve at sea in various vessels as Master on short term contracts. He has also been involved in training merchant navy personnel in various short courses to STCW 95 standards.

Rohan has served with Maritime Management since March 2010, combined with his appointment as Pilot in Dublin Port. He is a member of Department of Transport, Tourism and Marine panel for surveying fishing vessels less than 15 m length overall.






Rohan Mac Allister

Peter Drugan – Superintendent

Having started his sea going career with a large London based company whilst at university, Peter has recently moved into shore based positions. His previous engagement was with Anglo Eastern Ship Management for NATO Underwater Research Centre and before that Carnival Corporation within the Cunard fleet. He has a BEng(Hons) in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture, from Strathclyde University and is in the process of gaining his full and unrestricted C/E ticket. He has experience on research, passenger, container and gas vessels.


Peter is originally from Glasgow, Scotland, but has settled in the Dublin area.
